Our Day to Relax and Celebrate!

Today was a day full of rain and indoor activities. Even Brad got to stay home from work today! The girls were super happy to have Daddy home for breakfast and lunch. It ended up that the tropical storm that everyone was worried about just ended up being a day full of slow, steady rain. No power outages or heavy wind here, just rain and drizzle. We spent the day just hanging out as a family, playing Candy Land and Go Fish, building tents, coloring, and working on our letters and numbers. Here is a picture of the tent the girls built out of blankets and our dining room table. It was Lauren's idea to have a camp out. So, they got their favorite dolls and their Little Mermaid sleeping bags and piled into their tent. They had a blast. They even got to eat their lunch in the tent which was a huge treat!

We also celebrated a couple of birthdays today. Baby Peyton is now 6 months old! Time is going by so much faster with her than it did with Camryn & Lauren. Here are a couple of pictures we took of her today.

And, Autumn turned 8 years old today! Happy Birthday to the best puppy dog ever! We celebrated her birthday by singing to her and giving her hugs and serving her a peanut butter sandwich with a candle in it for breakfast.
