6 Random Things

Okay I was tagged by my new friend, Tonya Leiva, to blog 6 random things about myself.

So, here are my Random Facts:

1. I met my husband in a Target parking lot. He made the first move by introducing himself as we were walking up to Target together. We talked a bit and then went our separate ways. After shopping, I found a note on my car from him with his email address. I emailed him, we met for dinner, and the rest is history!

2. A month after we moved into our house and after being newlywed for less than a year, my husband brought home a Golden Retriever puppy as a surprise gift to me. She was quite a 'surprise.' I had told him countless times that I did not want a dog, especially in our new house. So, I told him to take her back and continued to tell him this the first month we had her. Now, I love her and think she is the best puppy dog ever!

3. When I grow up (or when the kiddos leave for school!), I want to be a real estate agent. The only problem is that I don't do weekends or late nights, so what's a girl to do? I guess I will not be a very busy or profitable real estate agent!

4. I once had a 2 minute conversation with Charles Barkley on the phone. A friend of mine sat next to him on a plane and then handed the phone to him as they stood in baggage claim to talk to me.

5. I am addicted to http://www.weather.com/. I love to see what the weather is going to be like for the next 10 days and I love to watch the radar to see where the thunderstorms are in our area. And, I get a thrill out of tracking hurricanes!

6. One of my passions is cooking. I cook every night for my family and I look forward to my 'time' in the kitchen. I love trying new recipes. And, I really enjoy baking during the holidays so that I can make yummy dishes and treats to share with friends and family.
