This weekend, we had our annual family vacation weekend with my dad's side of the family. Finding a location that will house 19 adults and 10 children can be quite a challenge. This year, we decided to head to Lake LBJ outside of Austin. Thanks to Missy and Derek for organizing and planning this year's getaway. We stayed in an amazing 5 bedroom log cabin situated on 5 acres with a gated, private swimming pool and Rainbow play system. The pool and play system were a huge hit with the kids. Plus, lake access was just 1/2 mile down the street. We all agree that this is the place to be for future family weekends. In years past, we stayed in a house on the Gruene River. Gruene was great, but the house became too small and a little too dangerous for the toddlers and little ones that we've added to our family in recent years. We had a great time this weekend and are looking forward to next year's trip. Here are a couple of pictures from this weekend.
