Summer Catch Up

I have been a major slacker keeping my blog up to date this summer. So with only 4 days left in the summer, I started to feel the pressure to update my blog with some pictures from our summer. So, here it goes...

Dynamos Game
Camryn & Lauren with their best bud, Witt, at their first ever Dynamos game.
Our girls getting ready for the Dynamos game to start. Brad took them all by himself...it was a daddy and daughter date!

Swimming and Sliding at Cousin Morgan's and Cousin Reagan's
We went swimming at our cousins' house and forgot Peyton's swimsuit. How cute is this? I think her diaper ended up weighing 10 lbs. Poor thing...she just kept pulling it up and looking at me as if to ask me what was going on in her trunk!

Another picture of the saggyness or soggyness!

Cousin Braden airborne on the super cool waterslide at our cousins', Morgan and Reagan, house.

All of the cute cousins together!

Another pic of all the cousins together....we had such a blast that afternoon!

Baby Peyton and Baby Emery having a blast in the baby pool.

Aunt Jenny, Braden, Taylor, & Emery Come To Visit
Our cousins from Colorado came to visit the week of the girls' birthday. Camryn and Lauren were so excited to see Braden, Taylor & Emery (and Aunt Jenny of course!) and spend some much needed quality time with them. They actually spent the night with us 3 nights (which made our little house feel really small, but we loved every minute of it!) and the girls could not stop talking about how much fun they had with their cousins. They kept telling us after they left that they want to celebrate their birthday with them every year. We hope that dream comes true soon. They might be moving to Texas next summer. We will keep our fingers crossed until then.

Birthday Party Time
This year we had the girls' birthday party at our church. The party was complete with a bounce house, a bowling alley, a gym full of balls, game tables, and a indoor jungle gym. We had such a great time and we hope our guests did too. This year, we invited all of the girls friends from our multiples playgroup, their preschool class, and our neighborhood. This was the first time we actually let the girls dictate the guest list.

A pic of all the cousins (on the Whitmarsh side) at the party.

Camryn and Lauren getting ready to blow out their candles. This year, Camryn requested a Little Mermaid cake and Lauren requested a flower cake. So, I actually made 2 flower cakes and 1 big mermaid cake. I still can't believe they are 5!

A view of the party room!

Lauren with buds Bailey and Sarah from her preschool class.

It's bowling time! The girls love to bowl, so it was the perfect party place for them!

Peyton enjoying the festivities!

Birthday Morning

The girls with their presents from us. This year, they got walkie-talkies and their own digital camera that takes pictures and movies! Why didn't they have cool toys like that when we were growing up in the 80's?

The girls' birthday breakfast. They requested yogurt and a donut. The donut had to be chocolate iced with sprinkles of course! What a birthday without a little indulgence?
