School is Out for the Summer!!!

Well, that time of the year has finally come. We have officially entered the summer months. School is out, the weather is awfully hot, and every splash pad/swimming pool is packed with people trying to escape the summer heat. It's hard to believe that school is out. On one hand it's kind of nice not having to wake up and immediately start packing lunches, trying to figure out what everyone is wearing and pushing everyone out the door by 9:00. On the other hand, it's kind of hard not having a set schedule and having everyone home every day. The natives get a little restless if you know what I mean. So we plan to stay pretty busy this summer with little trips to the library, to our local pool, and to meet friends to play in the park. But, I'm also going to spend more time just enjoying this precious time with all 3 girls. I know the time will slip by. In the meantime, here are some pics of the girls from their last day of school and from a little 'End of the school year' party that our neighborhood mommies threw today.

Our big girls getting ready to go to their last day of preschool ever! It's hard to believe it's true.

This is the picture I took last year of the girls on their last day of school. They look so much younger, don't they?

C&L with their best friends Jacob and Jordan. This is the last year that they are going to go to school together. J&J will be going to preschool next year (because they have October birthdays) and the girls will be heading off to kindergarten. C&L sure will miss their buddies next year.

Camryn with her buddies Audrey and Sara. For the last day of school, the class had a luau party. The mommies were invited to share in a feast of pizza, fruit, veggies, brownies, ice cream sundaes, and of course Hawaiian punch. Yummy!

Peyton enjoying the festivities!

Mrs. Nagy and Lauren with her luau garb! Doesn't she look adorable?

A final pic of Mrs. Toni, Lauren, Mrs. Nagy & Camryn all dressed up in her luau garb. The girls will miss Mrs. Toni and Mrs. Nagy. They had a great year with them.

Camryn sliding down the GIANT waterslide that all of us mommies rented for the afternoon.

The girls enjoyed having the waterslide all to themselves for an hour before the big kids got off the school bus. They had so much fun!

All the kids had fun throwing water balloons at each other!

This is another waterslide that the girls got to have fun in. This is owned by our neighbor and friend Miss Allison. We are going to be hanging out with Miss Allison alot this summer!

Here is a pic of the girls with their sweet friend, Sara, who lives just down the street from us. They have become quite a trio.
