It officially happened today! Lauren lost her lower right front tooth. She was petrified this morning when she bit into a cheese stick and her tooth started to bleed and was hanging on by a thread. I tried to convince her to let me pull it so that she wouldn't swallow it, but she would have none of that. So, I just started encouraging her to use her tongue to push it out. It took a couple of hours, but she finally pushed it out at the park while she was swinging. She ran up to me so proud and excited. And, of course, she proceeded to tell every person we came into contact today (friend or stranger) about this momentous occasion. She was super excited about losing her tooth, but not so excited about the prospect of some strange fairy coming to visit her in the middle of the night tonight. Daddy and I tried to convince her that the tooth fairy is really nice and brings treats, but she didn't buy it. There were even a few tears shed over her fear. So, the tooth fairy will not be visiting this house tonight. We are going to try it again tomorrow night, but we'll see!!!
On another note, Baby Peyton has officially gotten her very first tooth. You can hardly see it, but it's slowly making it's way out. Poor baby has been really fussy and a little sick, which we blame mostly on teething.

Hey Tami ~ you might want to try this all natural remedy called Gripe Water. It's really for colic, but I used it with Maggie when she was teething and it did wonders! You can find it at a health food store, maybe even HEB. Just food for thought!
They are all growing up so fast...
