The girls came home with an assignment the other day from their preschool - a family picture to bring to school for the class bulletin board. A slow panic came over me as I read the assignment. I started going through all of our pictures in my mind and realized that we did not have 1 family picture of the 5 of us. We don't even have a picture of all 5 of us when Peyton was born...is that sad or what? Of course, I have a picture of Brad and the girls on Father's Day and we have a picture of me with the girls on Mother's Day. And, I have been wanting to get a professional picture taken of our family, but when have we had time for that? Why is it that we have a million pictures of our precious babies, but we don't have one picture of our entire family? So, I recruited my wonderful friend and neighbor Laurie to come over and take our picture. She did a great job! I've made a mental note to start taking more family pictures in the future so that I don't have to panic the next time an assignment like this comes home with the girls.

Girl, we are right there with you. We are having ours taken this month. I usually have to bribe not only my kids but my man as well. Hence, the reason our last one, professionally, was over 3 years ago.
