A Breath of Fresh Air

This weather here has been amazing over the last couple of days. The temperatures have been in the 70s and there has been very little humidity in the air. It has been such a blessing especially for all those who are still without power here in Houston. And, it has been a huge blessing for all of us parents who enjoy playing with their kids outside without suffering heat exhaustion! Yesterday, the girls and I played underneath the oak tree in our front yard and just delighted in the awesome weather. I sat down in the grass and let Peyton sit on my lap and feel the texture and coolness of the grass on her little feet. She had so much fun curling her toes and discovering what grass felt like. I couldn't resist taking a picture of this sweet moment!
