The Whitmarsh Crew: Catching Up

It's been such a long time since I posted anything, so I thought I would do a quick 'catch up' on the things we've been doing in the last couple of months. I'm doing this mainly because I have started using our blog as a scrapbook since we all know I am not a 'real' scrapbooker. I just don't have very many creative 'juices' in me. This just seems so much easier and quicker than pasting pictures on a piece of paper. So, here we go.

Over Spring Break, we spent some time with Gaw Gaw and Paw Paw and planted a garden. The girls had a blast planting flowers, tomatoes, onions, squash, zucchini, cucumbers and green peppers. They even had their own tools and gloves that Gaw Gaw provided.

Camryn received her soccer trophy at the party we had at the end of the season. This was the first season that she played soccer and she did so great! She was so proud!

Over Easter weekend, we tried to get the perfect bluebonnet picture. It is such a difficult task to accomplish especially when you are dealing with 2 4-year-olds and a 13 month old! Peyton decided to ditch her cute hair bow early on in the photo shoot which would explain all of the hair in her face. Oh well...maybe we'll get the 'perfect' picture next year. My babies still look mighty cute, though.

Happy Easter! Camryn & Lauren at our neighborhood's Easter egg hunt. It was a fun time, but I must say that hot weather and chocolate candy do not mix very well. Maybe next year, the committee will fill the eggs with something that will not liquify in warm weather!

Dying Easter eggs with Daddy. This was the first time that we ever dyed eggs as a family and it was so much fun and not messy at all. This is definitely something that we plan on doing again next year.

Our Easter Egg Hunt! This was the first time ever that we had an Easter egg hunt here at the house. I think probably because we are always gone on Easter. This was our first Easter to stay at home and just hang out as a family. It was so much fun hiding the egss and then having the girls find them. We all took turns hiding and finding the eggs.

The girls had an early birthday party at school. They celebrated their 'summer' birthday with 7 other kids in their class that have summer birthdays as well. We were all singing happy birthday to them when this picture was taken.
